Thomas Connolly

Dr Thomas Connolly is joining Jax Peds after 25+years as a pediatrician in the US Air Force and other private
pediatric practices.

He is a locally-educated Jacksonville student – Bishop Kenny for high school and Jacksonville University for
undergraduate biology studies. He went to Emory University for medical school on a military scholarship. He
did his residency training at David Grant Medical Center in Northern California. Was stationed overseas in
Japan and Italy as part of his payback for the military scholarship. He came back to Jacksonville in 2002.
He has over the years been lecturing at JU, UNF, and BK on various medical topics. He has been a mentor
for many NP students at JU, UF pediatric residents, and an occasional PA student.

He has helped with coaching the Bishop Kenny boys varsity basketball team – currently in his 23rd season.
He has helped coach basketball, softball, and baseball for middle school teams that his son Jacob has played
on.

He is married to Mequel and has two sons – Brandon and Jacob.
