Biography

I appreciate the trust parents have in my care, and I strive to provide the best, evidence-based care possible to your children. My military nursing experience afforded me opportunity to work in various areas of health care but it was not a surprise to me that I found pediatrics to be my passion. I find it very rewarding to watch children grow and to help families navigate through different life stages.

Personally, as a mom, I have spent the night in the hospital with my child and I have brought them in for evaluation of a broken bone or an asthma attack. I understand the concerns and worries commonly encountered and strive to make those easier. I especially enjoy the healthy moments in childhood and celebrate achieving milestones. I enjoy the diversity of cultures and differences in family experiences with my patients and am excited to continue with this at Jacksonville Pediatrics.

I have practiced as a pediatric nurse practitioner in various states in the U.S. and in countries around the world, and parents universally have similar desires for our children.

I truly believe with children, the days are long but the years are short. I am thankful to make memories with my own children. I grew up in New England but a military move brought us to the South. I have learned to enjoy the southern culture, warm weather, and beaches here in northeast Florida. When not at work, I spend time with my children exploring Florida. We love to travel while also enjoying time with friends and family near and far.
