Hello there! I am Dr. Adriana Cantville, a board-certified pediatrician specializing in both general pediatrics and pediatric hospital medicine, with more than 12 years of hospital-based experience caring for children from newborn through adolescence. I was raised in Miami, and I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I am passionate about creating a warm, welcoming environment where families feel heard, understood, and confident in their child’s care. My goal is to partner with parents and caregivers in supporting each child’s health, wellness, and growth.

As a mom of two, I understand that caring for children is about much more than making a diagnosis. My perspective on caring for children has been shaped not only by my years as a pediatrician, but also by my own experiences as a parent. Having had a child spend time in the NICU and PICU, I understand personally how vulnerable and overwhelming it can feel to place your child’s care in someone else’s hands—and how much clear communication, compassion, and reassurance matter during uncertain moments. These experiences allow me to meet families with both clinical expertise and genuine empathy. I understand that parenting rarely follows a textbook and that even well-intentioned advice has to make sense in the context of real life. I strive to listen without judgment, explain the “why” behind my recommendations, and work together to find practical solutions.

I know firsthand that parenthood comes with questions, uncertainty, sleepless nights, unexpected challenges, and plenty of moments that call for a sense of humor, especially in a household with ADHD like ours! Whether a family is navigating newborn feeding and sleep, developmental milestones, frequent childhood illnesses, school-age concerns, or the changing needs of teens, I strive to offer practical guidance that works for real families and real life. I hope to bring warmth, honesty, and reassurance to each visit, taking the time to listen to parents’ concerns, with the goal of helping parents feel supported and confident in the decisions they make for their children.

I am especially excited to join the practice alongside my husband Ryan, and the rest of the Jax Peds family, caring for children and building meaningful, long-term relationships with families in the community we serve together. Outside the office, I enjoy cooking for family and friends, planning the next family holiday, setting off on new adventures, and traveling. I look forward to getting to know my patients and their families, watching them grow, and caring for them for many years to come.
