I consider my role as your child’s pediatrician an honor. I truly think there is no greater profession in the world than supporting children in their path toward adulthood through proper physical and mental healthcare. I love connecting with my patients and recalling details of their lives and nuances in their personalities. When we see each other, you know that I KNOW your child. I am well-trained and have practiced pediatrics since 2006. I approach clinical decisions for your child from the foundation of my knowledge and experience, but then I develop individualized care based on what is best for your child and your family. We are a team – I depend on you and you depend on me for the betterment of our priority – your child.
Previously, I practiced in the state of Georgia. Often, my patients drove over 1.5 hours to come to my office. I think their efforts reflect the value my patients and their families place on the personal connection and care I have provided over the course of our relationship.
I loved my previous practice and patients, but I moved to Jacksonville after my son completed treatment for a rare pediatric cancer at Nemours Children’s Specialty Care and Wolfson Children’s Hospital. I was impressed by the medical community in Jacksonville and the care it provided my son. Experiencing medicine as the parent of a sick child expanded and enlightened my approach to pediatrics, and, as a result, I am more empathetic and realistic in my approach to patient care.
As I mentioned before, it is truly an honor to care for your child.
