I watch my friends diligently do their research to make smart decisions for the health and well being of their children and many decide that Jacksonville Pediatrics is the right choice for their kids.
I’m thrilled to be a part of the Jax Peds family so I can use my professional skills and talents to care for everyone’s children, from newborns to adolescents and everywhere in between.
My journey to becoming a nurse began as a young girl myself. I have always enjoyed science and later became interested in medicine. My career path was set when I realized I could combine both and have the ability to help kids.
Working as a registered nurse for three years in the Hematology/Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Wolfson Children’s Hospital afforded me the opportunity to build a strong nursing foundation so that I can continue to provide all families of my patients with supportive care.
Now I use my training and past experiences to help children relax in a tense or challenging situation. When possible, I like to have the child involved in their exam and care. I strive to have a calm and relaxed approach in order to achieve this reality.
I have a particular love for babies and toddlers – sometimes as I watch them develop and grow between check-ups I think I am as excited as their parents by their latest milestone.
I am excited and thankful for the opportunity to be with Jacksonville Pediatrics as their newest Nurse Practitioner. I look forward to helping all of our young patients grow into happy, healthy adults, and am proud to be part of this great team.
